What is multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security feature that adds extra steps to the login process so you use more than just a password to sign in.

We’ve may have added MFA to your online account. When you log in, you’ll be asked to enter a code sent to your device. This code is unique to you and should only be accessible by you. It adds an extra layer of protection, making it much harder for anyone else to access your account, even if they know your password.
