What are the main policy exclusions?
- Vehicles used without the required comprehensive vehicle insurance or for any purpose not listed in the accepted uses.
- Any loss exceeding the maximum limit (chosen by you and stated in the policy schedule).
- Does not pay anything already covered by another insurance.
- Does not cover claims caused by intentional actions, crime, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Does not pay any excess insurance.
- Does not cover if you refuse your insurer’s offer to fix or replace your vehicle.
- Any VAT charges if you’re a VAT-registered business.
- Loss of use of your vehicle or any other indirect consequences of the total loss.
- Costs associated with a new vehicle, like delivery fees, fuel, registration, taxes, plates or warranties.
- Any loss caused by or related to:
- Problems with computers or networks (e.g. hacking, viruses);
- Inability to use your computer, network, or data;
Unauthorised access to, processing, or storage of your data; - Your inability to access or use your data;
- Threats or hoaxes related to the above points; or
- Accidents or mistakes involving computers, networks, or data.
