Are maintenance charges covered by the Contract Hire & Leasing GAP policy?

No; your GAP policy is covering your liability for the contract hire and vehicle lease rentals only; therefore, it does not pay for costs not related to your Finance Agreement, such as administration fees, option to purchase charges, late payment fees, excess mileage, maintenance, relief vehicle charges, arrears, and early settlement charges.

Other costs which are not covered include:

• Road Fund Licence
• Excess mileage charges
• Late payments, arrears interest on arrears, or shortfall from not paying your finance
  agreement.
