How do I make a claim on my RTI GAP Policy?
You must either call 0345 040 5975 or email claims@acastaeurope.co.uk.
Although it’s not essential, it is advisable to call or email before accepting any offer from your main vehicle insurance company, because you can be guided on the value of your vehicle to ensure you receive a fair payout from your main insurer.
Work will begin on your case as quickly as possible. You’ll be asked for some information about your claim. This will include:
- A copy of your vehicle insurance schedule;
- Your vehicle’s main insurer’s written confirmation that your vehicle insurance payout has been paid and the terms on which the settlement was made;
- The original invoice relating to your vehicle.
- A copy of your finance/lease agreement, written confirmation from your finance/lease company of the early settlement amount and the terms on which it has been calculated; and
- A valid crime reference in the case of malicious damage or theft.
To make sure your claim is valid, you might be asked for additional information. Don’t worry you will only be asked for what is necessary, and they will always be fair requests.
If you don’t provide the information needed, your claim may not be able to be processed.
